Program Mission

The primary mission of the interior design education program is to prepare students for entry-level positions in the professional practice of interior design.  Design education develops the student's ability to perceive, analyze, and creatively interpret the needs of a complex, change-oriented society, and to develop innovative solutions.  Problem solving using a variety of methods is emphasized.
